mypet care
Everything about your pet, in one place.
The first app in the suite, and the one you can use today. It keeps the routine, the records and the photographs — and it connects you to the other people looking after animals near you.

What's inside
Eight things it does, and does properly
No feature here is a placeholder. Every one of them is a screen you can open right now.
Care tasks and reminders
Feeding, walks, medication, the flea treatment you always forget. Set it once, and everything due — and everything overdue — is waiting the moment you open the app.
Health tracking
Weight, vaccinations, treatments and notes, kept in one history — so when the vet asks, the answer is right there.
A gallery worth keeping
The photographs worth keeping, kept with the pet they belong to, instead of scattered through five years of camera roll.
Share a pet
Partners, family, the neighbour who feeds the cat while you're away. They see the same plan, and you choose who can only look and who can tick things off.
Owners nearby
Find people with pets like yours, close to where you live. Walks are better with company.
Adoption board
Pets looking for a home, posted by the people who know them. Browse, ask, and meet.
Lost-pet alerts
The worst day. Put out an alert with a photo, the place they went missing and how to reach you, on a board other owners nearby can check.
Local services
Walkers, sitters, groomers, boarding and pet taxis near you — plus the emergency numbers worth having before you need them.
A look around
Calm, uncluttered, and quick to read
The app gets out of the way. Big type, one accent colour, and nothing on screen that isn't doing a job.

One pet, one page
Species, breed, birthday, weight, who else looks after them. The details you end up hunting for at the worst possible moment.

Today, at a glance
A month at a glance, and what is actually coming: the nail trim, the food change, the appointment on the eighth.

A health history that holds up
Every weigh-in, vaccination and treatment in one timeline you can actually show someone.
Where it runs
Open it in a browser today
The web app is the real thing, not a preview — and it will add itself to your home screen if you ask. Store apps will follow, and we'll say so here rather than on a store page that doesn't exist yet.
Web
Works in any modern browser, on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. Nothing to download — and if you want it on your home screen, your phone can put it there, where it opens in its own window like any other app.
Open mypet careAndroid
A native app for Android is on the roadmap. We'll link it here the day it exists.
iOS
Same for iPhone and iPad. No store badge until there's something behind it.
FAQ
Questions people actually ask
If yours isn't here, write to us — we answer everything ourselves.
Does it cost anything?
No. Everything in mypet care is free while we're in beta. And there will always be a free plan: up to three pets with five photos each, with care tasks, reminders, weight, treats and health records included. Friends and the nearby-services directory will be part of the paid plan, and the free plan will show a few ads. If a paid plan arrives we'll say so clearly and well ahead of time — nothing will start charging you by surprise.
Do I need to install anything?
No — it runs in any modern browser, on a phone, tablet or laptop. If you would rather have it on your home screen, your phone can put it there and it opens in its own window, like any other app. Store apps for Android and iOS are on the roadmap, and we'll link them here the day they're real.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. You can open mypet care and begin straight away, with everything kept on the device you're using — no email, no password. When you do make an account, what you already added comes with you. An account is what adds syncing across your devices, sharing a pet with somebody else, and the community boards.
How many pets can I add?
As many as you like while we're in beta — nothing is capped today. Each one gets its own profile, tasks, health history and gallery. When paid plans arrive, the free plan will hold three pets with five photos each, and we'll say so clearly before anything changes.
Will reminders reach me when the app is closed?
Not yet, and we would rather say so than let you find out. mypet care runs in your browser, and a browser cannot wake itself up — so a task due at eight in the morning is waiting for you the next time you open the app, not buzzing in your pocket. Nothing due is ever lost, and it is flagged the moment you look. Notifications that arrive on their own are the next thing we are building.
Can my partner or family use the same pet?
Yes — that's what sharing is for. Invite whoever helps look after your pet and they see the same plan: the tasks, the health history, the lot. You decide for each person whether they can only look, or tick things off and add to the record too.
Who can see my pet's information?
You, and the people you explicitly share a pet with. Your profile stays private until you turn on being discoverable yourself — and when you do, the position other owners see is rounded to about a kilometre before it ever leaves your phone. That is enough to answer who is nearby, and nowhere near enough to point at your door. The adoption board and lost-pet alerts show only what you choose to post there.
What if someone behaves badly?
Anything posted publicly can be reported to us, and you can block any account outright. A blocked account cannot message you, send you a request or reach you anywhere in the app — in either direction — and it is not told. You manage the list in Settings, and you can undo it whenever you like.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?
It stays yours, and you don't have to ask us for it. Settings has one button that exports everything you've added and another that deletes your account and its contents outright — no email, no waiting. The Privacy Policy explains what we hold while you're using it.
