Privacy Policy

This policy covers this website, mypetsuite.eu, and nothing else.

The mypet care application at care.mypetsuite.eu is a separate service with its own, longer privacy policy covering accounts, pet records, photographs and the community features. If you are looking for how the app handles your data, read the app's privacy policy instead.

1. Who is responsible#

We are the controller of the personal data described below. Because we offer this site to people in the European Union, we apply the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) alongside Albanian Law no. 124/2024 on Personal Data Protection.

2. The short version#

This is a brochure website. It has no accounts, no login, and no shop.

• It sets no cookies at all, so there is no consent banner.
• It does not track you across other websites, and builds no profile of you.
• The only personal data it receives is what you type into a form and send us, plus the technical information any web server necessarily sees.

3. What we collect, and why#

Information you send us deliberately#

The contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message. We use them for one thing: to read what you sent and reply to it.

• Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns using our services, and otherwise our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in answering people who write to us.
• Retention: the message stays in our mailbox for up to 24 months and is then deleted, unless the exchange is still live or we are required to keep it.

The "tell me when it launches" forms on the mypet vet and mypet store pages ask for your email address and an explicit tick to confirm you want it.

• Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
• What you get: one email, when that app launches. No newsletter, no other marketing, and we never pass the address to anyone else.
• Retention: the address is deleted once that email has been sent, or sooner if you ask.
• Withdrawing: write to info@mypetsuite.eu and we will remove it. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done beforehand.

Information collected automatically#

Server logs. Our hosting provider records the technical details of each request — IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser's user-agent string and the referring page. These are used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse or faults.

• Legal basis: our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in operating and securing the site.
• Retention: short-term, and held by our hosting provider under their own retention schedule.

Aggregate analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people read. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, does not use a persistent identifier, and does not follow you to other websites. What we see is counts, not people.

• Legal basis: our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in knowing which pages are useful. Because no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required for it.

What we deliberately do not do#

• No advertising, remarketing or conversion tracking.
• No social-media tracking pixels or embedded feeds.
• No fingerprinting or cross-site identifiers.
• Fonts are served from this website, not from Google Fonts — so loading a page does not send your IP address to a font provider.
• Images are served from this website, not from a third-party stock library.

4. Who else sees this data#

We keep the list of third parties as short as we can. Each of these processes data on our instructions, under a contract:

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We will disclose it if the law genuinely requires it, and not otherwise.

5. International transfers#

We are based in Albania, which is outside the European Economic Area, and some of the providers above process data in the United States. Where personal data leaves the EEA it is protected by appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR — in practice, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in our agreements with those providers. You can ask us for details.

6. Your rights#

Whatever data protection law applies to you, you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything inaccurate;
• delete it;
• restrict or object to how we use it, including anything we do on the basis of legitimate interests;
• hand it over in a portable form, where that right applies;
• withdraw consent at any time, where consent is what we relied on.

Write to info@mypetsuite.eu. You do not need to give a reason, and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to a supervisory authority — in Albania, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDP), and in the EU, the authority in the country where you live or work.

7. Children#

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 through it. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

8. Security#

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and rate-limited, and the resulting emails go to a mailbox protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold small enough that there is very little to lose.

9. Changes#

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the page itself rather than made quietly.
